Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal government staff during night shifts.
- Monitor system performance and security alerts to ensure 24/7 operational integrity.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and backup verification.
- Resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless transition of ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Experience working in a government or secure environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
