Responsibilities
- Provide remote Tier 2/3 technical support for state agency systems during night shift hours
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and cloud services
- Respond to security incidents and implement remediation protocols
- Document technical procedures and update knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system outages
- Execute scheduled maintenance and patch deployments
- Ensure compliance with Texas state IT security standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in enterprise-level IT support or system administration
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Texas residency required for state government positions
- Valid U.S. driver's license
