Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot server infrastructure, applications, and network connectivity 24/7.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits during the night shift.
- Respond to and resolve critical IT incidents and service requests escalated from the day shift team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data privacy and security regulations.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incident reports to maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Valid Driver’s License (for occasional on-site support at satellite facilities).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays as required.
