Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal IT systems during weekend operations.
- Monitor network security protocols and respond to potential threats immediately.
- Perform routine system backups, maintenance, and updates to ensure 24/7 availability.
- Assist federal employees with hardware and software issues via the help desk.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to implement new technology solutions.
- Maintain compliance with all federal IT security policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal employment.
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least one year of specialized experience in IT support or system administration.
- Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Must pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
