Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal government networks and systems.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (NIST).
- Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Document technical procedures, network diagrams, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Assist in the deployment of hardware and software upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
