Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate responders during night hours
- Maintain accurate incident logs using CAD/RMS systems
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during critical incidents
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during complex emergencies
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness
- Adhere to all city protocols and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years dispatch or customer service experience
- National Emergency Number Association (NENA) certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Clear background check and drug screen
