Responsibilities
- Manage emergency communications and dispatch police, fire, and medical services during night shift
- Maintain accurate logs of all incidents and radio communications
- Utilize CAD systems to track unit locations and incident statuses
- Provide critical information to first responders and coordinate resources
- Remain calm and professional during high-pressure emergency situations
- Collaborate with other agencies and internal teams for seamless operations
- Adhere to all city protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of dispatch/emergency communications experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Proficiency in CAD systems and multi-channel radio operations
- Exceptional multitasking and crisis management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
