Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls during night shifts, dispatching appropriate responders
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation in CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to callers
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness
- Perform routine equipment checks and system maintenance
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in emergency services or call center environment
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems
- Exceptional multitasking abilities during high-stress scenarios
- Ability to work rotating night shifts including weekends and holidays
