Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to prevent crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and provide critical incident support
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state regulations
- Document incidents and maintain detailed activity reports
- Collaborate with federal/state/local agencies during joint operations
- Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Provide public education on safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 2 years public safety or military experience
- Ability to pass federal background check and polygraph
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Proficiency in emergency response technologies
- Must be U.S. citizen with permanent residency status
