Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure designated city facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to emergency incidents with rapid deployment capabilities
- Conduct regular security patrols and surveillance of critical infrastructure
- Maintain detailed incident reports and digital security logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical events
- Operate advanced security systems including biometric access controls
- Implement emergency response protocols for natural disasters or security breaches
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Class D Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain Illinois Emergency Management certification within 90 days
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and digital reporting systems
- Must pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
