Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones overnight to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond immediately to emergency calls, accidents, and security incidents
- Monitor surveillance systems and critical infrastructure during low-traffic hours
- Document incidents with detailed reports using digital evidence systems
- Coordinate with dispatch and other emergency services during night operations
- Conduct security checks of municipal facilities and public spaces
- Provide visible deterrence and rapid response during overnight events
Qualifications
- Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Pass comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement or security
- Advanced certification in emergency response procedures
- Proficient in digital reporting and surveillance technology
- Ability to make critical decisions independently during night operations
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
