Responsibilities
- Monitor city surveillance systems during overnight hours to prevent crime and respond to incidents
- Conduct regular patrols of designated municipal zones including parks, business districts, and critical infrastructure
- Document and report suspicious activities, security breaches, and emergency situations using digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with emergency services (fire, police) during critical incidents requiring multi-agency response
- Maintain access control at government facilities and respond to after-hours alarm activations
- Provide assistance to citizens during nighttime emergencies including medical and welfare checks
- Operate specialized security equipment including CCTV, communication devices, and emergency response tools
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred
- Ability to remain alert and respond effectively during extended night hours
