Responsibilities
- Patrol designated neighborhoods during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and maintain public order
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring immediate intervention
- Document all activities and incidents using digital reporting systems with precision
- Collaborate with other city agencies and emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct security checks at municipal buildings and infrastructure during night hours
- Provide assistance to citizens and visitors requiring nighttime support services
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years of law enforcement or security experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Proficient in emergency response protocols and crisis management
- Valid Class C Illinois driver's license with clean record
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background clearance
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
