Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring immediate intervention
- Conduct thorough investigations and detailed incident documentation for legal compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch, fire department, and emergency medical services during critical incidents
- Maintain high visibility through community engagement and proactive crime prevention measures
- Operate specialized night surveillance equipment and communication systems
- Participate in continuous training for tactical response and crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph test, and physical fitness assessment
- Strong decision-making skills under high-pressure night shift conditions
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and defensive tactics (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Fluency in English and Spanish highly desirable for community outreach
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
