Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive patrols during nighttime hours (10 PM - 6 AM) across designated districts
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and public disturbances with rapid deployment
- Enforce municipal codes and state laws while maintaining diplomatic community relations
- Collaborate with dispatch, fire, and medical teams during multi-agency incidents
- Document incident reports with precision using digital evidence systems
- Conduct security assessments for city facilities during low-traffic hours
- Maintain 24/7 communication via encrypted radio networks
Qualifications
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or military security experience
- Ability to work rotating night shifts with variable schedules
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in digital evidence collection and reporting systems
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation and polygraph
