Responsibilities
- Patrol municipal facilities and high-risk areas during overnight hours
- Respond to emergency calls including medical incidents, security breaches, and public disturbances
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems for immediate threat detection
- Document incidents and maintain detailed activity logs using digital reporting systems
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Enforce city ordinances and security protocols at government properties
- Conduct safety inspections and recommend facility improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Arizona Security Guard certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security, law enforcement, or military experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in emergency response protocols and first aid/CPR
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays
