Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas during overnight hours to ensure public safety and security
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to emergency incidents
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Enforce city ordinances and regulations with professionalism and discretion
- Conduct security checks of public facilities and infrastructure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience required
- Successfully pass background check and drug screening
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
