Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to ensure public safety and security
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, incidents, and citizen concerns with appropriate protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and investigate suspicious activities or potential threats
- Document incidents, maintain accurate logs, and prepare detailed reports for official records
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and city departments during critical situations
- Conduct security checks at municipal facilities, infrastructure sites, and public spaces
- Provide assistance to citizens during emergencies and non-emergency situations
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong observational skills and proficiency in emergency response procedures
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- Proficiency in using surveillance technology and communication systems
