Responsibilities
- Patrol designated municipal facilities and critical infrastructure during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security breaches per federal NIMS guidelines
- Coordinate with state emergency management during off-hours incident responses
- Document all security activities using standardized federal reporting systems
- Conduct routine safety audits of public works facilities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement during joint operations
- Maintain 24/7 communication readiness via encrypted government channels
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License
- FEMA IS-100/200 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass federal background check and polygraph examination
- Proficient in CCTV operation and incident report writing
- Strong physical stamina for overnight patrol duties
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Valid driver's license with clean record
