Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol SFMTA facilities including maintenance yards, administrative buildings, and transit hubs during overnight shifts
- Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Respond to incidents, document security breaches, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs in compliance with government standards
- Collaborate with day-shift personnel to ensure seamless security operations
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card and firearms permit (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years security experience in government or regulated environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and incident reporting
- Proficiency in security technology systems (CCTV, access control)
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
