Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities and premises during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of all personnel
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Maintain communication with dispatch and security teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and security software
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission certification a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
