Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior and exterior to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor and operate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations, including access control and visitor screening procedures.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, alarms, and medical incidents, following established emergency protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs regarding security observations and incidents.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and alertness during all shift hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid New York State Security Guard License required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
