Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure government facilities during overnight hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of premises using advanced security systems
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of all personnel
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate CCTV systems and access control technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Texas Peace Officer License
- Proficient in operating surveillance systems and access control software
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
