Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city facilities and perimeters during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with urgency
- Enforce access control procedures for restricted municipal areas
- Document incidents and prepare detailed security reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance logs
- Provide emergency response support during natural disasters or civil unrest
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and reporting software
