Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor municipal facilities during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and respond to security alerts within 5 minutes
- Enforce access control protocols for restricted government areas
- Document incidents and prepare detailed shift reports using digital systems
- Coordinate with local law enforcement during emergency situations
- Conduct routine safety inspections of infrastructure and equipment
- Maintain 100% compliance with Virginia state security regulations
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Security Guard License (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement/military/security experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in CCTV operation and digital reporting systems
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
