Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities during overnight hours to ensure security and deter unauthorized access
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity
- Conduct thorough security inspections of premises, including perimeter checks and access point verification
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and security breaches in detailed daily reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate logs of visitor access and property movement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee Security Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in incident reporting software
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
