Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities, including courthouses and administrative buildings, to ensure the safety of property and personnel.
- Control access points and verify the identity of visitors, vendors, and employees before granting entry.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, following established security protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries regarding security activities and observations.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and security equipment to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary during critical incidents.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and discretion at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with security management software.
