Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities and perimeters during night hours to ensure maximum security.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches in a calm and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, and access points to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Document all incidents, irregularities, and equipment malfunctions in the security logbook.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Perform access control duties, verifying credentials of staff and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or Security is a plus.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or government facilities is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
