Responsibilities
- Answer 911/emergency calls and prioritize incident responses
- Dispatch police/fire/EMS units via radio and CAD systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance
- Operate multi-agency communication networks
- Collaborate with first responders during active incidents
- Complete state-mandated certification training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18+ years old and US citizen
- Pass background check, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed ≥40 WPM
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid Ohio driver's license
