Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate security surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control terminals, during night shift hours.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to ensure safety and deter unauthorized activity.
- Enforce security protocols and procedures for all personnel and visitors entering the government facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, following established emergency response plans.
- Complete detailed incident reports and log entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify the identity and authorization of personnel accessing restricted areas.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with law enforcement and facility management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo a government-level background check and drug screening.
- Current Driver's License is required.
