Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and patrol systems to detect security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency calls
- Conduct regular building inspections and access control checks
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical events
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with municipal regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Class D Security License
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
