Responsibilities
- Patrol municipal facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel entering restricted areas
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with swift, professional protocols
- Conduct detailed security assessments and vulnerability reports for critical infrastructure
- Coordinate with Baltimore Police Department during emergency response situations
- Maintain accurate logs of security activities and prepare comprehensive incident reports
- Implement emergency evacuation procedures for government buildings during overnight operations
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland Class C Security Guard License (required)
- Minimum 2 years of professional security experience with night shift exposure
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass extensive background check and federal security clearance
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems, access control software, and communication devices
- Strong observational skills and ability to remain alert during extended overnight hours
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies and emergency protocols
