Responsibilities
- Patrol designated government facilities and public spaces during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-time
- Enforce access control protocols for restricted areas and sensitive government buildings
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents or security breaches
- Document security incidents with detailed reports and maintain accurate logs
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive security measures
- Train junior security personnel on night shift protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky Security Guard License (Class D)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or corporate security
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Proficiency with CCTV systems, access control software, and alarm monitoring
- Exceptional crisis management and de-escalation skills
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and drug screening
