Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect government facilities, assets, and personnel during overnight hours
- Conduct regular security patrols using digital surveillance systems and physical inspections
- Respond to emergency incidents, alarms, and security breaches with rapid intervention protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation using digital reporting tools
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Enforce access control policies and verify credentials for all night-time facility entrants
- Maintain communication protocols with day shift teams for seamless operational continuity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Tennessee Armed Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with surveillance systems, radio communications, and reporting software
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per government standards
