Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols of designated municipal facilities using advanced surveillance systems and thermal imaging
- Implement emergency response protocols for incidents including unauthorized access, fire alarms, and medical emergencies
- Maintain detailed digital logs and incident reports using proprietary government security software
- Coordinate with Omaha Police Department dispatch during critical incidents
- Operate X-ray scanners and metal detection equipment at government access points
- Conduct threat assessments using behavioral analysis and suspicious activity reporting
- Perform routine facility integrity checks including perimeter security systems
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska Security Guard License (Class III)
- Minimum 2 years documented security or law enforcement experience
- CPR/AED certification and First Aid training
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance within 90 days
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
