Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated government facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergencies with immediate protocol enforcement
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Maintain detailed incident reports and activity logs using digital systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate emergency response equipment including radios and alarm systems
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facility perimeters
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
