Responsibilities
- Patrol designated government facilities and high-security zones overnight using advanced surveillance systems
- Respond to emergency calls, security breaches, and suspicious activities with rapid tactical response
- Conduct thorough security inspections of premises, access points, and surveillance equipment
- Document incidents, patrol reports, and security breaches using digital reporting systems
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents and emergency situations
- Enforce security protocols and access control procedures for all personnel and visitors
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class 'D' Security Officer License or equivalent law enforcement certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement with night shift exposure
- Proficient in operating surveillance systems, access control software, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (background check required)
- Strong observational skills with ability to assess suspicious behavior and threats
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
