Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city facilities and grounds during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts/incidents
- Conduct access control and verify credentials for authorized personnel
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Perform preventative maintenance on security equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Ohio Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
