Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols of municipal facilities during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts within 5 minutes
- Enforce access control protocols for restricted government areas
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and maintain detailed logs
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of facilities during low-traffic periods
- Train on specialized security equipment including biometric scanners
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License (SBI-032) required
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or corporate security
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and incident documentation software
- Must pass FBI background check and random drug screenings
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Strong observational skills and written communication abilities
