Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned county facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following established protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of access points, alarms, and security equipment
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Enforce county policies and safety regulations for all personnel
- Perform emergency response drills and security vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card and firearms permit (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in CCTV operation and security software systems
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
