Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned government premises during overnight shifts
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations
- Conduct thorough access control procedures for personnel and visitors
- Document incident reports with precise detail and maintain security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Implement emergency protocols for natural disasters or civil unrest
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and CCTV
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Proficient in using security software and surveillance equipment
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
