Responsibilities
- Monitor public health surveillance systems during overnight hours to detect and respond to emerging health threats
- Coordinate with state emergency responders during off-peak incidents requiring immediate attention
- Analyze overnight data trends for infectious disease patterns and environmental health indicators
- Maintain critical public health databases and reporting systems with zero downtime
- Conduct overnight facility inspections for compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare detailed incident reports for morning leadership briefings
- Train night shift team members on new protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Certification in Emergency Management (CEM) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in health data visualization tools
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- US Citizenship and ability to pass federal background clearance
