Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to nighttime emergencies within state facilities
- Conduct patrols and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incident responses
- Maintain detailed documentation of security logs and incident reports
- Provide support to emergency management operations during overnight hours
- Collaborate with day-shift personnel for seamless transition of critical information
- Assist in disaster response and recovery efforts as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of public safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during critical situations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
