Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems across city facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned government properties
- Respond to security alerts and incidents per protocol
- Document all observations and incidents in digital logs
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical events
- Maintain access control for restricted government areas
- Participate in quarterly security drills and training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Maryland Security Guard license
- Minimum 2 years security or military experience
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting software
- Clear background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident
