Your Role:
As the Night Shift Systems Administrator, you will be the first line of defense for our IT infrastructure. You will manage servers, resolve critical incidents, and ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, performance metrics, and system logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management, updates, and backups, outside of peak operational hours.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity, hardware, and software issues for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state security protocols, access controls, and data privacy regulations.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in our IT ticketing system.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand off critical issues and ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certification in Microsoft Server Administration (MCSE) or equivalent technical knowledge.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 operational environment or night shift capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
