Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage real-time traffic systems during overnight hours
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for nighttime incidents
- Operate specialized transportation control systems and equipment
- Conduct infrastructure surveillance and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services
- Document shift activities and prepare comprehensive reports
- Train on advanced traffic management software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years experience in transportation operations
- Valid District of Columbia driver's license
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in traffic management systems
- Emergency response certification preferred
- Ability to obtain government security clearance
