Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial customers along an assigned route.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently before beginning the delivery route.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Maintain the security of the mail and ensure the safety of your vehicle and surroundings.
- Operate USPS vehicles (if applicable) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations, procedures, and protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess valid legal documentation to work in the U.S.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- No prior experience is required; full training is provided.
