Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and landscaping using provided equipment
- Operate and care for maintenance machinery (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Inspect and repair park facilities (playgrounds, benches, shelters)
- Support special events and youth recreation programs
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean, accessible public spaces
- Assist in seasonal facility preparations and winterization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to operate outdoor power machinery safely
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and turf management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous park maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferred
