Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and sports courts to safety standards
- Organize and lead recreational programs (sports, arts, summer camps)
- Operate park equipment and vehicles safely
- Enforce park rules and provide excellent visitor assistance
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on landscape and facility upkeep
- Participate in community events and outreach initiatives
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year parks/recreation or customer service experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of turf management and landscaping
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
