Responsibilities
- Maintain park cleanliness through litter removal, restroom servicing, and landscape upkeep
- Operate recreational equipment and facilities safely (playgrounds, sports courts, picnic areas)
- Assist with special events setup, crowd management, and activity supervision
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community groups
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Support youth and senior programming activities as assigned
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in varied weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with diverse community members
- Basic knowledge of park safety and customer service principles
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts
- Valid California Driver's License (preferred)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passionate about environmental stewardship and community engagement
